Configuring your emails to your iPhone

One of the most common questions our support team are asked is how to configure their emails on an iPhone. It can seem confusing at first and many put it off when they first set up their iPhone.

Below, is a simple step by step guide on how to set up your email accounts on an iPhone.

1.First go to settings in the main menu of your iPhone

2.Select mail, contacts and calendars and then select ‘Add Account’

3.A selection of email providers will then appear on the next screen, click “other” at the bottom

4.The next screen will let you input your name, email address, password and a description to remind yourself of what email account it is

5.On the next screen you will need to select which type of email it is (IMAP or POP) and insert your details and then click done

6.Sometimes an error message regarding SSL will come up and at this point you need to click yes to verify the account

An issue that customers face sometimes is they can receive emails but not send them, for more information on clear steps on how to fix this problem, click here. This also includes more detailed steps detailed above including step by step images.
