  • What if I already have my own PBX?

    This service will replace your current on-premise PBX, so we suggest that if your existing PBX is approaching end of life or needs updating, Hosted Voice is recommended.

  • Will I need to upgrade my hardware?

    Depending on the scope of your Hosted Voice roll-out, it may be necessary to upgrade your Claranet network connections and this may involve upgrading your routers. You could also look to upgrade your LAN within your sites to carry voice and unified communications traffic.

    Handsets will be replaced, however we offer a range of desktop and mobile clients that may remove the need for IP desk phone handsets for many users.

  • How much money will I save?

    Savings will depend on your existing setup; more money can be saved by removing the need for separate voice connectivity and LAN infrastructure.

    You can save more money with free on-net calls between sites and users. Successfully rolling out UC capabilities such as desktop sharing and video calling can lower business travel costs as fewer face-to-face meetings are required.

  • How long does it take to install?

    The installation of the service varies dramatically depending on complexity, number of sites and the number of users. Simple installations can be up and running within a matter of days, whereas complex installations can take longer to implement.

    Once we have worked with you to determine your exact requirements, we will be able to provide more of an accurate timescale.

  • Do you provide support for the service?

    The Hosted Voice service is a completely unmanaged service, however, based on your initial requirements we will configure the service exactly to your specifications before we complete the implementation.

    We will also arrange online administrator training to your onsite administrators prior to the installation so that when the service is live you can manage any required changes yourselves.
